Project start with FSV Vohwinkel – The origin of the ZONIKA BallLocker

We proudly look back on our first completed project – together with FSV Vohwinkel . This milestone marks not only the successful completion of our first prototype, but also the official launch of ZONIKA as a brand.

In close collaboration with the club, we developed the first version of our BallLocker , now known as the XL model – a true heavyweight in every respect. The solid welded construction was robust and functional, but presented us with real challenges in terms of handling and assembly. This is precisely what motivated us to think outside the box .

From “monster” to vision

What rolled into the locker room at FSV Vohwinkel as a steel giant became the birth of a new generation of ball lockers for us: lighter, smarter, more well thought out .

The prototype served its purpose – and at the same time showed us the potential of a clever, modular, and easy-to-assemble version. These learnings have been directly incorporated into the further development of our product line, and we are pleased to announce: The new ZONIKA BallLockers are on the way!

New generation in the starting blocks

The revised line is not only lighter but also designed for straightforward assembly. Instead of complex welding, we rely on intelligent plug-in systems , clear structures, and genuine everyday usability for clubs, schools, and sports facilities.

The beginning has been made

What began as a one-off project is now the foundation of a brand that aims to redefine the basic equipment of sports clubs .
